Hello
I'm like you. I'm 57. A woman, daughter, mother, wife and daughter in law. I have siblings and siblings in law. I have 4 cats, in which none of them are mine, but I love them. I want a dog, but that has to wait until I'm homebound myself. Like you, I am pulled in many directions. Some I welcome with open arms, others, I hesitate because anxiety overtakes me and it's tough stuff to deal with. I deal with mental health even though I've been medicated since the age of 23. I'm feel awesome most days, but when life events hit, I have a hard time and sometimes I have panic attacks.
If you are like me, I'd love you to read and maybe respond-if you want to, to my thoughts and feelings.
I have a wonderful husband who has been the answer to my prayers. I have two adult boys who are finding their way through life, love and mental health. One lives on his own, the other will be moving out within the next 3 weeks. I have a mother who is 85 and was diagnosed with moderate dementia, and my 96 year old father in law moved in with us 8 months ago. He's a WWII vet, and is in good spirits, he's just aging.
